Fictional Contamination captures the fact that even conversational storytelling has a potential for fictionalization and literary complexity. Basic narrative features such as story templates, dialogue, double deixis, second-person narration, focalization and perspective-taking, mind representation and narratives of experience are shown to bring conversational storytelling closer to fiction while serving the purpose of creating involvement.
