This book is a compilation of selected speeches and articles from China?s Minister of Water Resources, Chen Lei, which were delivered and published from February 2008 onwards. These speeches and articles reflect Minister Chen Lei?s ideas about how to manage water resources in a vast and rapidly developing country. The book also sheds light on the prevalent water-related problems in China, the strategies to deal with them and a vision for future development.
